Hypnotherapy - Hypnosis
What is hypnosis
When we think of hypnosis we immediately think of being out of control or a hypnotist making use do things that we do not want to do. This could not be further than the truth. A hypnotherapist or stage hypnotist can under NO circumstances make you do anything that you do not want to do.Hypnotherapist's termination

Hypnotherapy & clinical hypnosis
Both these terms cover the same area, clinical hypnosis is fundamentally hypnotherapy. This is the use of hypnosis (an altered state of consciousness, or trance) to help clients with their consulting symptoms using therapeutic and natural techniques.
Advanced hypnosis
Most hypnotherapy training schools will advise their qualified hypnotherapist to continue their training (CDT). They will award therapists that have been in training for a certain amount of hours or completed a set amount of courses with an advanced certificate. The advanced hypnosis certification differs between hypnotherapy training courses.
Analytical hypnotherapy (hypnoanalysis)
Analytical hypnosis is an advanced type of hypnotherapy. Its key objective is to uncover and remove deep emotional experiences which are linked to the clients symptoms. Once these repressed emotions (usually childhood) are worked through under hypnosis (with an adult mind) they seace to have any negative impact on their emotional state and health.
Stage hypnotism
If you have seen a hypnotist in action either on the TV or during a live show you may have seen his subjects acting in the most bizarre fashion. The hypnotist in questions will first ask for volunteers, he may even start with the whole crowd asking them to perform simple hypnotic suggestion techniques. For example he may suggest that your hands start become glued, fixed wielded together. People of the audience that do not have these feelings will be singled out and asked to be seated.
Once he has narrowed the selection down he will ask the 30 or so potential subjects to join him on the stage. He will continue with the selection process finding the ones that will give the best performances sending the others back to their seats.
Once you have committed to making your way down to the stage and are in front of a crowd you will be under emence pressure to perform, the atmosphere combined with the hysteria of the crowd will empower you to conform. The fact that the hypnotist has sent all the others back to their seats only compounds the fact that 'you must be hypnotised'.
So who makes the best hypnotic show subjects? People who are natural exhibitionists or hysterics obviously! also people who are generally shy but envy those who are outspoken (I wish I was more like you) believe it or not. Why? Well because those who like being center of attention will take advantage of this unique situation. And those people that are shy will use the hypnotists act as a shield themselves from the fear of doing anything wrong (social phobia). After all they are hypnotised making a fool of themselves doing what the hypnotist suggests, they are center of attention and can't possibly do anything wrong...... even if they do they get a laugh and impress the crowd. How safe can this be for the shy social phobic?
